Veliora lets the members of a family or a group share their location with each other on a map, set up safe zones, send emergency alerts and stay in touch. This document describes exactly what the app collects, why, who can see it, how long it is kept and how you can have it deleted.
Veliora is developed and operated by Editalabs, based in Istanbul, Türkiye. For anything in this policy, write to editacodelabs@gmail.com.
When you sign in with Google we store your name, e-mail address and profile picture as provided by Google, together with the role you choose in the app (parent, child, friend, partner or tour guide), your gender if you set one, your device's battery level, your notification token, your subscription status, the date your free trial started and the identifiers of the circle and tour you belong to. We do not collect or store passwords: sign-in is handled entirely by Google.
This is the core of the app. We collect your device's coordinates, accuracy, speed, battery level and a timestamp.
Location is collected in the background, including while the app is closed. This is necessary for the app to work: family members see each other live on the map, and safe-zone alerts have to fire when the app is not open. You can stop location sharing at any time with the Privacy Mode switch in your profile, or by withdrawing the permission in Android settings.
Messages you send in a circle chat are stored with their text, your name, your profile picture, a type marker and a timestamp. Messages are plain text and are not end-to-end encrypted; we are technically able to access them. The app does not support sending photos, files or voice messages in chat.
Safe zones ("geofences") you create are stored with the name you give them, their coordinates, their radius and who created them. When someone enters or leaves one, we record who, which zone, whether it was an entry or an exit, and when. Emergency (SOS) alerts are stored with your name, your coordinates and the time.
When drive detection is active we record the start and end time of a trip, the maximum speed reached, and whether a possible crash was detected. We do not store the route you took.
Once a week the app builds a summary from the data above: distance travelled, active days, number of trips, minutes driven, crash and emergency counts, safe-zone exits, a safety score, and your most frequently visited places with their coordinates and street addresses.
Only for accounts whose role is "child". If usage access is granted on that device, the app records the package names of the applications used that day and how many minutes each was used, up to twenty applications per day. Screen time is visible to the parents in the same circle. No other role collects this data, and it is never collected without granting the usage-access permission on the device itself.
We store the name and type of the circles you belong to, who owns them, and the name, role, profile picture and join date of each member. Invitations carry the circle name and the name of the person inviting. Tours carry the tour name, the guide's name, the start and end time, and the names of the participants.
Rules you create are stored with their name, the member they watch, the trigger (a safe zone, a lost GPS signal or a low battery) and who is notified. Rule names are set by you and often contain a person's name — for example "Ayşe — School". This text is stored exactly as you typed it.
If you connect a GPS tracker, we store its name, type, IMEI number, which member it is assigned to, and the location, battery, step count and heart rate it reports.
If you ask us to support a new device, the description you write and up to three photographs you attach are sent to our own server. They are used only to evaluate that request.
When the app fails we send a diagnostic report to Firebase Crashlytics. The report contains your internal user identifier, your role, whether a trial is active, and a technical label for the error. It never contains your name, e-mail address, location or message contents.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to measure our own advertising campaigns — for example, how many people installed Veliora after seeing one of our ads. It records events such as the first time the app is opened, app sessions, subscription purchases, account creation, the start of a free trial, use of the "Recommend to a friend" button and the sending of a report. Each event comes with technical information: device model, operating-system and app version, language, an approximate country and city derived from your IP address, an app-instance identifier and, on Android, your device's advertising ID. These events never contain your name, e-mail address, location coordinates or message contents.
Analytics is turned off on child accounts. As soon as an account's role is set to "child", Veliora stops collecting analytics data on that device. The only record that may already have been sent is the one created when the app was opened for the first time, before a role was chosen.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
If you use "Report a problem", the text you write is sent to us together with your internal user identifier, the app version, your app language and the time. If you report a message in a circle chat, we also receive a copy of that message, the identifier of the person who sent it and the identifier of the circle. Reports are visible only to us and are used only to review the problem or the reported content. The person you report is not told who reported them.

Each permission is requested at the point it is needed, and you can withdraw any of them from Android settings. Withdrawing location permission stops the app's main function but does not delete your account.

These providers process data on their own infrastructure, which may be located outside your country. We do not transfer your data to anyone else.

An earlier version of this policy stated fixed retention periods for emergency records, driving records and screen time. That was not accurate, and we have corrected it: those records are kept until you delete your account.
In the app: open Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm your e-mail address and sign in again. Deletion starts immediately after confirmation.
By e-mail: if you no longer have the app installed, write to editacodelabs@gmail.com from the address registered in the app, with the subject "Account deletion". Requests are processed within 30 days.
Full details are on our account deletion page. In short: your profile, locations, driving records, reports, screen time, safe zones, automation rules, emergency records, devices, circle and tour memberships and your sign-in account are all erased. If a circle is deleted with you, its messages go too; if the circle carries on, your messages remain for the other members with your name removed. Deletion is permanent.
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the GDPR you may ask us whether we hold data about you, request a copy, have inaccurate data corrected, have your data deleted, and object to processing. Write to editacodelabs@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. You can also limit analytics at any time by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in Android settings.
Veliora is a family application. A child account is created and managed under the supervision of a parent in the same circle, and it is the parent's responsibility to explain to the child what is being shared. The app is not directed at children who use it without a parent, and we do not knowingly collect data from a child outside a family circle. If you believe a child's data has reached us in this way, write to us and we will delete it.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to your data is enforced by server-side rules: your location can only be read by someone in your circle or in your active tour, and only while a subscription or trial is active. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you inside the app.
Veliora, bir ailenin ya da grubun üyelerinin konumlarını harita üzerinde birbirleriyle paylaşmasını, güvenli bölgeler tanımlamasını, acil durum bildirimi göndermesini ve iletişimde kalmasını sağlar. Google ile giriş yaptığınızda Google'ın bize verdiği adınızı, e-posta adresinizi ve profil fotoğrafınızı; uygulamada seçtiğiniz rolü (anne, baba, çocuk, arkadaş, partner veya tur rehberi); belirttiyseniz cinsiyetinizi; cihazınızın pil düzeyini; bildirim anahtarınızı; abonelik durumunuzu; ücretsiz denemenizin başlangıç tarihini ve bağlı olduğunuz daire ile turun kimliklerini saklarız. Şifre toplamayız ve saklamayız: giriş tamamen Google tarafından yürütülür.
Uygulamanın çekirdeği budur. Cihazınızın koordinatlarını, konum doğruluğunu, hızını, pil düzeyini ve zaman damgasını toplarız.
Konum arka planda, uygulama kapalıyken de toplanır. Bu, uygulamanın çalışması için zorunludur: aile üyeleri birbirini haritada canlı görür ve güvenli bölge uyarılarının uygulama açık değilken de tetiklenmesi gerekir. Konum paylaşımını profilinizdeki Gizlilik Modu anahtarıyla ya da Android ayarlarından izni geri çekerek istediğiniz an durdurabilirsiniz.
Daire sohbetinde gönderdiğiniz mesajlar; metni, adınız, profil fotoğrafınız, tür işareti ve zaman damgasıyla saklanır. Mesajlar düz metindir ve uçtan uca şifrelenmez; teknik olarak bunlara erişebiliriz. Uygulama sohbette fotoğraf, dosya veya sesli mesaj göndermeyi desteklemez.
Oluşturduğunuz güvenli bölgeler; verdiğiniz ad, koordinatları, yarıçapı ve kimin oluşturduğu bilgisiyle saklanır. Biri bir bölgeye girdiğinde ya da çıktığında; kimin, hangi bölgeye, giriş mi çıkış mı ve ne zaman olduğu kaydedilir. Acil durum (SOS) bildirimleri adınız, koordinatlarınız ve zamanla saklanır.
Sürüş algılama etkinken bir yolculuğun başlangıç ve bitiş zamanı, ulaşılan en yüksek hız ve olası bir çarpışmanın algılanıp algılanmadığı kaydedilir. İzlediğiniz rotayı saklamayız.
Uygulama haftada bir, yukarıdaki verilerden bir özet üretir: kat edilen mesafe, aktif günler, yolculuk sayısı, sürüş dakikası, çarpışma ve acil durum sayıları, güvenli bölge çıkışları, bir güvenlik puanı ve en sık gittiğiniz yerlerin koordinatlarıyla açık adresleri.
Yalnızca rolü "çocuk" olan hesaplar için. O cihazda kullanım erişimi izni verilmişse uygulama, o gün kullanılan uygulamaların paket adlarını ve kaçar dakika kullanıldığını, günde en fazla yirmi uygulama olacak şekilde kaydeder. Ekran süresi aynı dairedeki ebeveynler tarafından görülür. Başka hiçbir rolde bu veri toplanmaz ve cihazın kendi ayarlarından kullanım erişimi izni verilmeden asla toplanmaz.
Bağlı olduğunuz dairelerin adını ve türünü, sahibini, her üyenin adını, rolünü, profil fotoğrafını ve katılma tarihini saklarız. Davetler daire adını ve davet edenin adını taşır. Turlar; tur adını, rehberin adını, başlangıç ve bitiş zamanını ve katılımcıların adlarını taşır.
Oluşturduğunuz kurallar; adı, izlediği üye, tetikleyicisi (bir güvenli bölge, kesilen GPS sinyali ya da düşük pil) ve kimin bildirim alacağı bilgisiyle saklanır. Kural adlarını siz belirlersiniz ve çoğu zaman bir kişinin adını içerirler — örneğin "Ayşe — Okul". Bu metin yazdığınız gibi saklanır.
Bir GPS takip cihazı bağlarsanız; adını, türünü, IMEI numarasını, hangi üyeye atandığını ve bildirdiği konum, pil, adım sayısı ile nabız bilgisini saklarız.
Yeni bir cihazın desteklenmesini istediğinizde, yazdığınız açıklama ve eklediğiniz en fazla üç fotoğraf kendi sunucumuza gönderilir. Yalnızca o talebi değerlendirmek için kullanılır.
Uygulama hata verdiğinde Firebase Crashlytics'e bir teşhis kaydı göndeririz. Kayıt; iç kullanıcı kimliğinizi, rolünüzü, denemenin aktif olup olmadığını ve hatanın teknik etiketini içerir. Adınızı, e-posta adresinizi, konumunuzu veya mesaj içeriklerinizi asla içermez.
Uygulamanın nasıl kullanıldığını anlamak ve kendi reklam kampanyalarımızı ölçmek için Google Analytics for Firebase kullanırız — örneğin reklamlarımızdan birini gördükten sonra Veliora'yı kaç kişinin kurduğunu. Uygulamanın ilk kez açılması, uygulama oturumları, abonelik satın alımları, hesap oluşturma, ücretsiz denemenin başlaması, "Arkadaşına öner" düğmesinin kullanılması ve bir bildirimin gönderilmesi gibi olaylar kaydedilir. Her olayla birlikte teknik bilgiler de gider: cihaz modeli, işletim sistemi ve uygulama sürümü, dil, IP adresinizden çıkarılan yaklaşık ülke ve şehir, bir uygulama kurulum kimliği ve Android'de cihazınızın reklam kimliği. Bu olaylar adınızı, e-posta adresinizi, konum koordinatlarınızı veya mesaj içeriklerinizi asla içermez.
Çocuk hesaplarında analitik kapalıdır. Bir hesabın rolü "çocuk" olarak belirlendiği anda Veliora o cihazda analitik veri toplamayı durdurur. Daha önce gönderilmiş olabilecek tek kayıt, rol seçilmeden önce uygulamanın ilk kez açıldığı ana aittir.
Reklam kimliğinizi Android ayarlarından sıfırlayabilir veya silebilir, reklam kişiselleştirmesini kapatabilirsiniz (genellikle Ayarlar → Google → Reklamlar veya Ayarlar → Gizlilik → Reklamlar).
"Sorun bildir"i kullanırsanız yazdığınız metin; iç kullanıcı kimliğiniz, uygulama sürümü, uygulama diliniz ve zamanla birlikte bize gönderilir. Daire sohbetinde bir mesajı bildirirseniz ayrıca o mesajın bir kopyası, gönderen kişinin kimliği ve dairenin kimliği de bize ulaşır. Bildirimleri yalnızca biz görürüz ve yalnızca sorunu ya da bildirilen içeriği incelemek için kullanırız. Bildirdiğiniz kişiye kimin bildirdiği söylenmez.

Her izin ihtiyaç duyulduğu anda istenir ve hepsini Android ayarlarından geri çekebilirsiniz. Konum iznini geri çekmek uygulamanın ana işlevini durdurur ama hesabınızı silmez.

Bu politikanın önceki sürümü acil durum kayıtları, sürüş kayıtları ve ekran süresi için sabit saklama süreleri belirtiyordu. Bu doğru değildi ve düzelttik: bu kayıtlar hesabınızı silene kadar saklanır.
Uygulama içinden: Profil sekmesini açın, en alta inip Hesabı sil'e dokunun. E-posta adresinizi onaylamanız ve yeniden giriş yapmanız istenir. Onaydan hemen sonra silme başlar.
E-posta ile: uygulama artık kurulu değilse, uygulamada kayıtlı adresinizden editacodelabs@gmail.com adresine "Hesap silme" konu başlığıyla yazın. Talepler 30 gün içinde işleme alınır.

Daire sizinle birlikte siliniyorsa mesajları da gider; daire devam ediyorsa mesajlarınız diğer üyeler için kalır, adınız kaldırılır. Silme işlemi kalıcıdır.

Reklam kimliğinizi Android ayarlarından sıfırlayarak veya silerek analitiği istediğiniz an sınırlayabilirsiniz.
Veliora bir aile uygulamasıdır. Çocuk hesabı, aynı dairedeki bir ebeveynin gözetiminde oluşturulur ve yönetilir; neyin paylaşıldığını çocuğa anlatmak ebeveynin sorumluluğundadır. Uygulama, ebeveyni olmadan kullanan çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bir aile dairesi dışındaki bir çocuktan bilerek veri toplamayız. Bir çocuğun verisinin bu şekilde bize ulaştığını düşünüyorsanız bize yazın, silelim.
Uygulama ile sunucularımız arasındaki tüm trafik aktarım sırasında şifrelenir. Verilerinize erişim sunucu tarafındaki kurallarla sınırlanır: konumunuzu yalnızca dairenizdeki ya da aktif turunuzdaki biri, yalnızca abonelik veya deneme etkinken okuyabilir. Mesajlar uçtan uca şifrelenmez.
Bu politikayı değiştirirsek sayfanın başındaki tarihi güncelleriz; önemli değişiklikleri uygulama içinde de bildiririz.
